Patron Saint Whisky Competition – Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Patron Saint Whisky competition (“Competition”)
operated by Patron Saint Whisky Ltd (“Promoter”). By entering, participants agree to be bound by
these Terms and Conditions.
- Promoter
The Competition is organised and promoted by:
Patron Saint Whisky Ltd (the “Promoter”).
Registered office: Unit 11, Avalon Business Park, St Andrews, KY16 OUB. - Eligibility
- The Competition is open to legal residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, and
Wales), Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland aged 18 or over at the time of entry. - Proof of age and residency may be required.
- Employees, contractors, agents, and representatives of the Promoter, its affiliates, or
associated companies, and their immediate family members, are excluded from entering.
- How to Enter
- Entry is open from 10.10.2025 and closes at 23:59 on 10.11.2025 (“Competition Period”).
- Entry is made in one of the following ways:
- Product Purchase: Each purchase of a Patron Saint 1888 Whisky bottle during the
Competition Period counts as one (1) entry. Customers who purchased prior to the
Competition Period will also be automatically entered as long as they opt in via
email to enquiries@patronsaintwhisky.com , with one (1) entry per bottle. - Postal Entry (No Purchase Necessary): To enter without purchase, send your full
name, address, email, and contact telephone number on a plain postcard or sealed
envelope to: Unit 11, Avalon Business Park, St Andrews, KY16 OUB.. Postal entries
must be received by the Closing Date to be eligible.
- Each entry must be made in the entrant’s own name.
- Entries received outside the Competition Period will not be valid and up to discretion of
event organiser.
- The Prizes
The winner will receive the following prizes (“Prize”): - A signed British & Irish Lions Rugby Jersey from the 2025 Tour to Australia.
- A signed bottle of Patron Saint 1888 Whisky, signed by Head Coach Andy Farrell.
- A commissioned artwork by “Visually Speaking” featuring the winner and Lions players
Finn Russell, Maro Itoje, and Dan Sheehan. (Artwork created post-competition; subject to
winner providing image reference; final artwork decision remains with the artist). - An all-expenses-paid trip for two (2) to St Andrews, including:
◦ A private whisky tasting experience at the Patron Saint distillery.
◦ One (1) night’s accommodation at a Luxury, St Andrews, Hotel.
◦ Travel arrangements to and from St Andrews (to be agreed with the Promoter).
- The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative is available.
- The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize or any element of equal or greater
value in the event circumstances beyond its control make it necessary.
- Winner Selection
- All eligible entries received by the Closing Date will be entered into a random draw.
- The draw will take place within 7 days of the Competition closing.
- The winner will be contacted by email (or by telephone if email is unavailable) within 7
days of the draw. - If the winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right
to award the Prize to another entrant drawn at random.
- Prize Fulfilment
- The signed jersey, signed bottle, and commissioned artwork (once completed) will be
delivered to the winner’s UK address. - The Promoter will liaise with the winner to arrange travel and accommodation for the St
Andrews experience. Dates are subject to availability and mutual agreement. - The winner is responsible for holding a valid form of identification (passport, driving
licence, etc.) as required for travel.
- Publicity & Data Protection
- By entering, participants agree that the Promoter may use their name, likeness, and county
of residence for reasonable publicity purposes relating to the Competition, in any media,
worldwide, without further payment or consideration. - Personal data supplied during the Competition will only be used for the purposes of
administering the Competition and in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy [insert
link].
- General Conditions
- Entries must not be made through agents, third parties, or automated means.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, misdirected, or incomplete entries.
- The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries it reasonably believes do not comply
with these Terms and Conditions or where any fraud or misconduct is suspected. - The Promoter accepts no responsibility for system errors, interruptions, or other issues that
may affect the receipt of entries or the administration of the Competition.
- Limitation of Liability
- The Promoter will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered by
any entrant resulting from entering or participating in the Competition or accepting the
Prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law. - Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit the Promoter’s liability for death or
personal injury caused by its negligence, or for fraud.
- Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the
laws of Scotland, England, and Wales. - Entrants agree that the courts of Scotland, England, and Wales shall have exclusive
jurisdiction to settle any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Competition.
